Hi! I'm Chris McKinley
The inspiration to establish C.M.E.D. came after Chris had successfully planned a 50th birthday celebration for his beloved mother. She served as the catalyst for the brand that exists today. Originally Chris McKinley Consultants and Events, the company was officially launched in November of 2015. Specializing in candle lit luxury events, Chris McKinley Event Design has grown to become a household name among couples, and event hosts and hostesses across the southern region of the United States.
I know they say that the Bride sets the tone for the wedding, but I believe it’s the Event Designer/Event Planner that puts the Bride at ease to set such a relaxed and appropriate tone to the special day.

Wow! Where do I start?
The Chris McKinley Consultants and Events team mean the world to me. Let me first start by saying I’m unorganized, a procrastinator, and very picky! Also, let me explain first that I did not contact Chris about assisting me with my wedding until 3 months before the date! Most would have declined but, he took on the challenge and every step of the way ensured me that everything would be okay! Chris completely took over the details and took a major load off of my shoulders! I mean, even down to the vendors that Chris recommended, everyone was professional and easy to work with! Yall, when I say EVERYTHING that could have went wrong the week leading up to my wedding… did! I had the worse hair crisis 2 days before the wedding! Chris literally stopped what he was doing and STAYED at the salon with me and a bridesmaid until 4am! Yall… his commitment is there… his heart is there… his hustle is there! If you are looking for someone to handle your event with class, professionalism, and just straight up swag… Chris McKinley Consultants and Events!!!!
